As Co-Chairperson, I am confident the teamwork of the Organizing Committee has, once again, constructively built an invaluable platform for stakeholders across the construction field to learn about the latest developments in concrete technologies and the real-world applications across the globe.  

This year, the Conference brings together a rich programme of topics centred on innovation and sustainability.  Through the joint efforts of the Standing Committee on Concrete Technology, the Hong Kong Concrete Institute and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the knowledge exchanged over the sessions will certainly serve to develop new quality productive forces for our industry.

I am also sure that every participant will find the Conference highly beneficial on two fronts.  On the technical front, the insights shared will prove invaluable to our coming endeavours in the development of sustainable infrastructure.  On the networking front, this gathering will foster more international collaborations, intensifying our synergy in resolving various construction problems.

May I sincerely thank our invited speakers, from both the practical field and academic research institutes, for their significant contributions to the Conference this year.  Their dedication to sharing knowledge is what makes this platform truly meaningful.  I wish the Conference greater success in the coming editions, as we continue to pass on this precious knowledge to the next generation of construction professionals.
