Abstract
The construction industry is increasingly required to balance infrastructure development with environmental sustainability, resource efficiency, and carbon reduction objectives. As concrete remains the most widely used construction material, the adoption of innovative sustainable concrete technologies has become essential for reducing environmental impacts while maintaining structural performance, durability, and economic viability. This presentation examines the application of sustainable concrete solutions in contemporary construction and evaluates the potential to support low-carbon and resilient infrastructure. This presentation also concludes by identifying opportunities and challenges for wider adoption of sustainable concrete solutions and provides practical insights for engineers, architects, contractors, and concrete producers seeking to support the transition toward more sustainable construction practices.
